Mutianyu Great Wall

The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall is linked with Jiankou in the west and Lianhuachi in the east. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, the Mutianyu Great Wall used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs.

Ming Tombs

The Ming Dynasty Tombs are located about 50 km, i the suburban Changping District, north of central Beijing. From the Yongle Emperor onwards, 13 Emperors in Ming Dynasty ( 1368 – 1644) were buried in this area.
