The roast duck tastes pure and mellow with lotus leaf-shaped cake, scallion slices and sweet sauce jam, leaving a lasting and pleasant aftertaste. Except roast duck, there are also many famous dishes in Quanjude Restaurant, including Mustard Duck Web, Boiled Duck Liver, Crystal Duck Delicacy, Seasoned Duck Gizzard, Hot and Spicy Shredded Duck Wing, Quick Fried Duck Heart, etc.

Quanjude Duck Restaurant of Hepingmen Branch is the largest one in Beijing.

The duck is hung in the oven and roasted by flame burning from fruit-wood. It takes about 45 minutes for the duck to be done.

Shidu Scenic Area is just a couple hours outside of Beijing. On the way over, we got to see a lot of small towns and fields of crops. In fact, there are totally 17 Dus in this scenic area, and Shidu (Tenth Du) is the located in the center. It provides extreme jumps such as cliff parachuting, crag climbing, the glide flying wing, the drift, the skin rowing, the surfing vehicle, the sand beach bathing place, the swimming, horse riding and many entertainment projects. We really had a happy weekend in this place.

The World Park is a large area of gardens displaying miniatures of scenic spots throughout the world, including more than 100 miniature world-famous buildings from 14 countries and regions the world over. The park is divided into five areas, which are named after different contents and regions of the world: Asia, Africa, Europe, America and Latin America. The park itself is a visual display of modern cultures of the world.

The World Park also has a fountain operated by laser beams, a plant maze and a fairyland in which children and adults alike can enjoy themselves. Regular international parades of folklore are planned to provide the tourist with a chance to view folk customs from different countries.

Now it is one of the must see attactions in Beijing. The image of Temple of Heaven has become the symbol of Beijijg tourism.

It was extremely cold that morning when I arrived in the park and the temperature falls to zero or thereabout.

With three stops in China – the other two being Shanghai and Guangzhou. Everyone who finished the 10-kilometer running within 2 hours will get a medal, and the first three will get other praise. 

There are about 4,500 people joined in the Beijing running that day.

We did warm up exercises around 9:40 a.m. Several famous guys in entertainment world also came. The atmosphere was so excited that we didn’t feel cold any more.

The race began at 10 o’clock in the morning. More than 4,000 runners rushed out in the running track at the same time. Long- distance race is won by runner with the greatest endurance. Come on! Running!!

We ran very fast for the first 3 kilometers, but it was very hard to keep the same speed on the half way. Sometimes we even walked instead of running. We also met the smallest “runner” on the halfway. He is only two years old.

At around 11:30, we finally finished the 10 kilometers running and got the medal. Although I didn’t get any place in the competition, I still won.

Look at the medal. Does it look like a golden metal? Well, it may be made of iron!

Nike Lunar Run 10KM aims to make us interested in sports and running. In order to maintain physical well being, we should get sufficient exercise every day. Let’s keep running after the competition!
