Our English speaking tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the early morning around 8:0am. Then have a 1.5 hour's drive to Badaling Great Wall which is located about 80km northwest of Beijing's city center.

Badaling Great Wall is known for its imposing magnitude. Badaling means "giving access to every direction", the name itself suggests its strategic importance. The wall here averages 7.8 meters in height and has a width of 5.7 meters at the top and 6.5 meters at the base. The walkway on top is 4.5 meters wide, making it possible for five horses or ten soldiers to march abreast.

For every few hundred metres, you can find a watchtower. Also, the wall of this section was built of giant rocks and bricks of similar size. It was faced with stone, and the inside was filled with earth and rubber, therefore, Badaling Great Wall was also considered the strongest section of the Ming Great Wall. Hiking for 2-3 hour.

At the end of your hike, you will have a late afternoon lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, your will be returned to your hotel in Beijing around 3:00pm.
