Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the early morning at 7:30am. Get to the Huangyaguan Great Wall before 10:00am. Driving 18 KM to the north from Ji County along Jiwei Road, you will see the Huangyaguan Great Wall winding acrossing the mountains. It was first built in the 7th year of Tianbao, Beiqi Dynasty (557AD) and extensively repaired with bricks in Ming Dynasty.The whole Great wall lies on the precipitous mountain ridges. It not only contains all kinds of ancient defensive works but also boasts the peculiar Phoenix Fortress, Beiji Temple, the fortress of steles. The most redeeming factor of this section is that it is less plagued by tourists than its Beijing counterparts.After the late lunch, get back to the hotel downtown.
