Day by day Itinerary: Day 01: Beijing - Chengde by train ( L D )
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Beijing railway station. Take the by train N211 (06:30am - 10:48am) to Chengde. Upon arrival, transferred to Qianyang Hotel in Chengde or same class hotel. After lunch, visit the Summer Resort ( Chengde Mountain Resort). Listed on the UNESCO"s World Heritage List in 1994, the summer resort and surrounding temples make up the biggest existant royal garden and temples, dating back to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Transfer back to hotel after the dinner.

Day 02: Chengde - Beijing by train ( B L )
After breakfast, visit Putuozongchengzhi Temple, which is also called Little Potala Palace. Little Potala Palace and Puning Temple are circled around the Mountain Resort on the eastern and northern sides. Puning Temple was built between 1755 and 1759. After lunch, transfer to railway station for train N212 (13:30pm -17:48pm) back to Beijing, transferred to your hotel in Beijing.
