Day by day itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Arrival in Beijing, met by our private tour guide who will pick you up and transfer you to Tiantan Hotel in Beijing. Free for rest of ther day.

Day 02: Beijing ( B L D )
Full day City tour to Tian'anmen Square - biggest downtown square; Forbidden City - imperial palace of ancient China; Temple of Heaven - ancient worship architecture; Summer Palace - imperial garden. Beijing Duck dinner and Peking Opera Performance in the evening.
Stay at Beijing Tiantan Hotel or same class

Day 03: Beijing ( B L D )
A full day excursion to the Badaling Great Wall and Ming Tombs. The Great Wall is the landmark of China. Ming Tombs are where 13 emperors of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) were buried.

Day 04: Beijing - Datong by overnight train ( B L D )
Today's tour focuses on the traditional part of Beijing residential area. Take a men driving rickshaw to visit Old Beijing Hutongs and enter the former Prince Gong's Mansion to experience the noble life of the last Qing Emperor"s father. Having lunch with an ordinary family of Beijinger"s in a courtyard. After lunch proceed to have a look at Lama Temple. Then we will visit Xiushui Market for silk, vase other local arts and crafts. In the evening, take overnight train K707(2300-0630) to Datong.

Day 05: Arrival at Datong ( B L D )
Arrival in Datong at 06:30am. Your tour guide will pick you up and transferr to your hotel. Full day tour of the Yungang Grotto, Nine Dragon Wall, Huayan Temple and Shanhua Temple. Yungang Grotto is is one of China's biggest grottoes with world-famous treasure-collection of arts and culture.
Nine Dragon Screen in Datong is one of the three noted Nine Dragons Screens in China.

Day 06: Datong - Taiyuan by road ( B L D )
Take private car or van to Taiyuan. On the way to Taiyuan, visit the Hanging Temple, Shanhua Temple. Arrival in Taiyuan and visit Shuanta Temple.
Hanging Temple is located at the foot of Mt. Hengshan 65 kilometers from downtown Datong City. The temple hangs on the west cliff of a hill with over 50 meters above the ground, hence Hanging Monastery.
Yingxian Wood Pagoda is the oldest wooden Buddhist pagoda in existence in China.

Day 07: Taiyuan - Pingyao - Beijing by air ( B L )
Half day tour of the Jin Ancestral Temple. Then drive to the ancien Pingyao City. Go to visit the Shuanling Temple, Ancient City Wall, Street of Ming and Qing Dynasty. In the evening, transfer to airport for flight to Beijing. Met and transferred to your hotel in Beijing. Jin Ancestral Temple is one of the most valuable historical relics under specialcontrol of the State.
Pingyao City is a small town in central Shanxi Province,near Taiyuan.Pingyao boasts plenty of cultural relics.The city wall was first built during the Zhou Dynasty (11th century - 256 B.C.) and was expanded in 1370, the third year of the reign of Ming Emperor Hongwu. Since 1997, it has been listed as a World Heritage Site.
