Itinerary:
Met at your hotel in Beijing by your private tour guide at 8:30am. Walk or take cab to the nearest subway station ( remark: you will pay the taxi fee if you take cab to the subway station ). First take subway line 13 to Summer palace. The Summer Palace was originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty, Its predecessor was the Garden of Clear Ripples (Qingyiyuan) started in 1750 and burned down by the British and French allied troops in 1860. In 1886, Empress Dowager Cixi used navy outlays and other funds in the reconstruction and renamed the park as Summer Palace in 1888. The Summer Palace in northwest suburban Beijing is the largest and most complete imperial garden existing in China. After lunch, move on to a local big fresh water pearl market. Then take taxi ( paid by us ) to the Bird's nest - Nationa stadium for a close look. Then move on to the Nationalities Park, which is also known as the Chinese Ethnic Culture Park, highlighting the cultures of China, with a focus on traditional architecture, music and dance. Most Chinese are Han Chinese - making up 95%; but there are 56 ethnic groups in the Chinese family altogether. Then come to the Chaboshi Tea House to enjoy the typical Chinese Tea Ceremony. After the day tour, you will return to your hotel on your own.
